Built on the shore of Lake Hanabanilla, in the Escambray Mountains, this hotel is a perfect retreat in which to get away from the stresses and strains of modern urban life. Also it is a great 2 night stopover if you are doing the Caraterra Central through Cuba.
Here, you can go boating and fish for large-mouth bass (the largest specimens ever caught in Cuba came from this lake). The mountain vegetation is tropical/jungle-like with huge Royal Palms everywhere.
A lunch or dinner in its Río Negro Restaurant, with a great view of the lake, will give you memories to treasure. In the evening, the discotheque offers you the best in Cuba and international music.
