Very close to the Old square and the St. Francis of Assisi square, the elegant Raquel hotel captivates the passer-by with its harmonious Art Nouveau style structure. Its biblical name and some of its spaces relate with the Hebrew culture. The building was built in 1905, conceived both as an office building, and a warehouse to stor fabrics. In 1908, it expanded and achieved present-day appearance.
Recently refurbished and transformed into a hotel. It consists of 25 rooms, all of which have been carefully designed with great comfort and decorated with paintings of well-known Cuban visual artists.
